The LEGO ValUUes children’s curriculum is an experiential religious education program created by the UUA to introduce young children to core faith concepts through active play. The curriculum focuses on exploring UU identity by combining stories, community building, art, and creative block building. Each session utilizes a consistent, predictable routine to help children feel grounded and secure. By using LEGO bricks and play activities, the program explores UU beliefs with LOVE at the center of the framework.

The Soul Matters (SM) UU Upper Elementary Core curriculum, enhanced by the “In The Middle” add-on program provides creative, hands-on opportunities for youth to explore their faith and build a strong UU identity together. Rooted in experiential learning, the curriculum focuses on a sense of fun rather than simply conveying information. Students will enjoy learning through games, meditation, art, reflection questions, and stories about inspiring UU figures. Ultimately, the program aims not just to teach youth about their faith, but to connect UU values to meaningful, age-appropriate conversations about real-world issues.

Childcare for toddlers and young children is available every Sunday from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. in the end classroom located in Hawkins Hall. Our Childcare providers create a warm, friendly environment to ensure a happy and comfortable experience for little ones. Parents who prefer to remain with their children are welcome.
