Palm Sunday

Join us this Palm Sunday for a service exploring Jesus’s radical act of mocking tyranny. Palm Sunday is often told as a gentle parade of palms and hosannas. But in the tense atmosphere of Passover under Roman rule, Jesus’ choice to ride into Jerusalem on a donkey was a daring act of public resistance—a piece of prophetic street theater confronting imperial power. In this service, we explore the brilliance and courage of that moment and ask what it means to practice love, truth, and holy defiance in our own time. Bread and wine communion will also be served. Coffee hour to follow the service. All are welcome! Bring a friend!
