Join us for our annual Blessing of the Animals service. All pets who are comfortable in the presence of other leashed animals are welcome to attend. Stuffed animals are welcome too! The theme of the service is the Hawai’ian Philosophy of Kahu, In Hawaiian, “kahu” translates to “guardian, protector, or caretaker.” It’s used to describe someone who is responsible for the care and well-being of another person, animal, or sacred thing. The term emphasizes a sense of stewardship, honor, and a deep connection to what is being cared for. 

Sally Cragin, Director of Be PAWSitive Therapy Pets and Community Education, and volunteers will be our guests. Be PAWSitive educates, mentors, and insures therapy pet teams in our region. Currently in their 11th year, they donate hundreds of hours of pet therapy to schools, libraries, residential care facilities, and rehabs every year.

Please join us, online or in person, each Sunday at 10:00 am for Sunday service and Religious Exploration activities for children.
