Students will enjoy hearing a story entitled, Lighting a Lamp, A Diwali Story by Jonny Zucker. This class will play games and make crafts as many families do when celebrating Diwali.

“Picture Book World Religions”. Children will explore various religions with a focus on Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism. Children will learn through celebrations, music, crafts and beautiful picture books. In addition we will explore concepts such as the value of wisdom and loyalty, the importance of family, and the practice of compassion for all living beings.
