Buddhism continued
Children will continue to explore Buddhism through Zen Shorts, by Jon J Muth. Stillwater is a panda bear who imaginatively presents three classic Zen stories. Children will create a painting that is reminiscent of the black and white Buddhist calligraphy.

“Picture Book World Religions”. Children will explore various religions with a focus on Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism. Children will learn through celebrations, music, crafts and beautiful picture books. In addition we will explore concepts such as the value of wisdom and loyalty, the importance of family, and the practice of compassion for all living beings.
