The Brave Little Parrot by Rafe Martin is a retelling of a traditional “jataka” tale from India, one of the stories about Buddha’s past lives. “Do the little thing that comes from your heart and everything might change, in ways no one could imagine”. Children will enjoy crafts and games related to the story.

“Picture Book World Religions”. Children will explore various religions with a focus on Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism. Children will learn through celebrations, music, crafts and beautiful picture books. In addition we will explore concepts such as the value of wisdom and loyalty, the importance of family, and the practice of compassion for all living beings.
