Beginner Group (K-3rd gr.) Black History Month

The symbol of Sankofa align with UU Principles of wisdom and justice.  Sankofa is the story of the West African bird whose name means ‘Go back and fetch it’.  Children will join Sankofa on a journey through time and learn African history and facts ranging from past to present.

Participants will be invited to play West African games such as Ampe and Achi.
