Beginners (2nd – 5th grade)
UU Value: Transformation
Vilhjamur Stefansson, Unitarian Arctic Explorer, lived to try new things which required change. Ours is a living and ever changing religion. Through acting out a Tellable Tale entitled “Answer Mountain”, students will explore ways that transformation is both difficult and wonderful. Activity options: Soap Carving and/or UU Value Flag Art.
Beginners will participate in a Unitarian Universalist Identity curriculum. This program emphasizes learning UU values through physical movement, challenge, and adventure. 1st graders are welcome to join the group when there is no “Early Learners” activity scheduled.
