Students will continue to explore the world of Hinduism, bringing some of its core beliefs and practices into clearer view. Participants will play Moksha Patam, a Hindu game created to teach youths about reincarnation. Those who prefer can make Diwali lamps with air-dry-clay while listening to the Ganesha Sharanam Mantra – (Mantras).

“World Blessings” is a curriculum which seeks to introduce our world’s diverse religions and holidays through the shared activity of cooking. Each recipe contains a section called Learn About the World that will provide context for the recipe’s traditional culture. Sharing stories, holidays, and traditions from different faiths will help students begin a journey of understanding, tolerance, and celebration for the diversity of human expressions of faith.
