All Shall Be Well – 19th Joint Summer Service

The 19th annual Joint Summer Service of neighboring Unitarian Universalist churches will be on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 10AM. We are delighted that our congregation will be hosting again in our beautiful Bulfinch church.

The Rev. Wil Darcangelo, minister at the Lancaster and Fitchburg churches, will lead the worship. The 14th century Mystic and Anchoress Julian of Norwich’s encouraging words have soothed humanity during its darkest times. Now is the time to revisit her words as we struggle through our greatest human reckoning to date.
Kallin Johnson, Music Director at Lancaster, will direct the pick-up choir, which will sing a choral Introit and Anthem.  All singers are welcome. Rehearsal begins at 8:30AM on Sunday morning before worship.

The service is based on a Sunday, minister-led service with a sermon, pick-up choir, hymns, and social hour following service. Our hope is to have an in-person service at Lancaster with a virtual option. However, the status of the on-going COVID endemic will determine the type of the service and social hour.

We look forward to gathering together again in fellowship and community to celebrate our shared UU heritage and ministries.
