An “ism” is a distinctive practice, system, or philosophy, typically a religious or spiritual ideology or an artistic movement. Many of us feel a resistance to isms, but they pervade every corner of our lives. As UU’s we mainly practice forms of Omnism and Dharmism as a way of interacting with the world.
